Celestial Rhythms
The armillary sphere once helped people understand the movement of celestial bodies. In Celestial Rhythms, this early model becomes a moving work of light.
Connected rings turn and shift in relation to one another, recalling the orbits of planets and stars. An original composition by Pēteris Pāss gives the movement its rhythm. Watching the installation brings something of the scale of the cosmos within reach.
